No Matt That Is The Way It Comes Out. And Yes For The Most Part, I Just Like The Fact That People Feel Free To Share Their Ideas And Expierences No Matter What The Views Are And No Matter Weather I Agree With What Others Say. It Always Gives Me Another Ave To Look At. Specially When The Big Chemistry And Technical Stuff Comes Up. Some Of That Stuff Just Blows Me Away.

also what reflector works best for what size tanks and stuff like that.

I think one of the greatest things I've learned is that what I learned a year ago is not as cut and dry as I thought it was at the time. I think sometimes we can't hold fast to exacts in this hobby but that in itself is why so many like it. (I'm a Tweaking, DIY, performance Reefer Junky LOL)

This place is Awesome. I have met some really cool people through this forum. I enjoy running my mouth, watching the threads, learning from Big Dogs, trading frags, getting deals from people that update. Sharing smiles from people that enjoy doing the same thing you do.. That is growing corals and maintaining their aquariums to the best of their ability. If your day is hectic, you can usually sidetrack to this forum and know people on here are smiling at ya waiting to share information.. from South Eastern Washington..Ed

I Know When I Started In 1992 I Would Have Loved To Have Had A Place Like This All I Had Was A Few Books And Lfs That Kept Going Out Of Business. A Lot Of Was Trial And Error Lots Of Error.

I guess I'll chime in too...I agree this place is great..lots of knowledge, good debate. Plenty of friendly, generous people who like to help out others. As far as the hobby is concerned I really don't have any trouble with all the individual aspects such as lighting, chemistry ect..I just have trouble with reefing as a whole.... :lol: Nah seriously I have learned so much since I started coming here it's almost embarrassing to talk about me and reefing BRF (before reef frontiers)

i think it is a great site also. when i set my tank up last june i was on this board hourly, trying to get as much insight as possible before i bought the tank and as i was setting it up. after i set it up i found out that we all don't see eye to eye on everything, but that is how i learn. I haven't posted on this forum for a few months but my interest in this hobby and my reef has not decreased. I am back now because i want to set up a smaller(75gallon) sps only tank and this forum is where i get the most help.
I think having the expert authors here to answer questions is a huge help.
I sometimes wonder how much more difficult it would be to get into this hobby prior to the internet and sites like this. (i do know what it was like, a big failure)!
