Nope!

Here's my old 75gal with the 6060 and 6080 as well as a 750 gph return and also later, I added a 950 gph closed loop!

Only if it annoys your corals and blows sand everywhere. The bigger problem with flow in tanks is dead spots. Its just as important to not have alot of dead spots as it is to have enough turnover.

Im gonna use thos 2 tunzis in the 75....
im in the work to getting it together.

just got the new job start tomarrow...

what i have planed for the 75 is

2x250's the 2 tunze's 100lbs of Live rock in the main tank. the sump will be one tube down and one tube up thur the over flow, lock line split in to ither 2 or 3 maybe 4 dirrectional returns.

3 small heaters in the sump. the sump will be that 45 breeder i have.... the breeder will have 400watt Mh over it probably with a maxi jet in the slow section. a aqua c Ev 150 skimmer... or 100... thats about 5 grand right there.

the stand i dont have yet.... not sure how i want that to go.... I dont want a canopy i like the open top look... i like how my new lights hang
