toadstool coral

hi im pretty new to reef keeping and have just got my first toadstool leather just wanted to now i was watching the tank last night after the lights had gone off when i saw that the toadstool had some long cotton like tenticles floating around in the water what i wanted to now is are these normal and what are they for thanx any info would be appreciated

Yes, it should have little long tentacles stick'n out all over on top. they like medium to high flow... (not blasting of course)
