Toadstool issue

One of my two toadstools had a chunk missing out of its base. Today another. There are no fish in my tank. It's folded over. The other is fine and dandy. Wut might this be?

There are several nudi's that eat leathers.
Plus if anything is near the base of it that can sting it, it will look as if a chunk was missing.

Well...crappers. I need to buy new rechargeables. I will have to wait 90 minutes for the little charge they do hold before I can get a pick uploaded.

The only nudi I have is the leftings of one of the two I had. If you didn't know any better you'd swear this was a baby lettuce nudi.

Would said "preditor worm" normally be eaten by my six line that is in the other tank recovering from HS treatment? I am tempted to take him out and put him in teh tank!

Nothing is really at the base. Just two toadstools on some dead coral.

I usually do look at the freakshow at night. The other toadstool is much bigger than its brother. I wonder why it didn't go after it first. They are connected, or should I say, on the same piece of coral and they have been doing well until now.

K, so the head came off of the toadstool. My question is; you can frag these guys right? Should I just leave the head alone or???!

Wedge the head in between two rocks and it should attach and grow.

Sometimes it's hard to get them to start growing again if it is rotting.
I like to take two small rocks and put the leather inbetween and use a rubber band to hold them together. Some like to use plastic tooth picks to wedge them into rocks untill they attach and some say using bridal veil to hold it down to the rock untill it attachs.
Many different ways to get leathers to attach.

Okay from what I see it looks to be a healthy leather...

...unless that is melted leather goo to the right. That Frogspawn could be a gooooood stinger FYI.

It is the white goo to the right. The frogspawn looks closer than it is. Even if it was, you'd think it hit the toadstool closer first.
