I'm trying to place my leather,and I'm not quite sure if it prefers strong current or medium,what type of lighting high, low?

meduim flow to high and averge light softys like food so feeding is a good idea

Also,do you just stand them in the open or do you put them up against a rock or in a crevasse .

you can put a toadstool anywhere, they are massively hardy and can live under little light or halide, and place wherever.

ive got one on top of a rock under about 8 inches from a 250watt halide and another half under a cave at the bottom about 20 inches from 250w halide with moderate flow

just the other day... i was sucking water out and my tube got to close and sucked to the head of the toadstool.... think closed up quick... but reopend shortly after...

very hardy...
