i think RF should have a tank of the month (does it already have one?)

No T reef we dont. What we do instead is have a Member of the Month. The winner is picked based on how good a member they are on reef frontier, helpful, active and so on. We then give them thier own html page so they can show off thier tank. They also get a $ 50.00 git certificate to what ever sponcers store they wish.

We feel thier are so many Nice tanks out thier it would be better to honor the folks that help the hobby.

Yea we like it here. This way folks get recognized for the great help they provide even though they might not have the resources to put together a elite tank

Mike, I really like the idea of the member of the month. So many people are very helpful and never get recognized. Not that they do it for the hopes of recognition, but it is nice to show it. Don't get me wrong, the TOMO in some of the other forums are nice, but for the most part there is very little to learn from them. It is more for amusing purposes than for educational purposes. I always learn something new from every tank I see no matter how little or simple it may be.
