thanks. i wanted to shop tri citys to see what they have in stock there. i Found both petland and aqua trpoic last weekend and i have to say the fish at aqua tropics were the worst looking fish i have ever seen. ick ridden half dead swimming sideways. wow:shock:
i did buy some fish from petland they were beautiful and healthy. This yellow tang i got from them is the best "outta the box" algae eater i have ever seen

Yes Nate they are very much hit & mis on fish quality and how the store looks. I like Pet land and some times you get very good deals. As for maintenance Like snails,shrimp and other items Petco seems to have the best bang for the $$$
Do you guys have any LFS in Yakima? I was just there today for some electrical code update classes.

yes and no. We of course have a petco. enough said really
we have another store Yakima Tropical Fish that gets fish once in a while sometimes there tanks will sit empty for a month before they get fish in. They used to get great fish, some of the most beautiful fish you have ever seen but they were getting them strait from the dude who catch them in the orient and they (the catchers) were real hit and miss with what they had. so now there getting fish from CA and there mostly common ones still healthy but nothing special.
There is another store in Yakima but again there nothing worth stopping by for. They sell dog and cat food and dabble in saltwater. i have never bought anything from them, The owner things we will to pay $50 for Zoa, that is common with no lineage
