Turn that brown upside-down ;)

Hey SPS fans,

I have had this frag for months. It was bark brown when I first got it and about 8 weeks ago it slowly began turning yellow. I was expecting a fourecent yellow or green colony eventually but two weeks ago it began turning purple/blue! This is getting very exciting to me and the growth rate has increased substantially.

So what changed? salt used? lighting? dosing of chemicals/supplements? tell us...

Not a whole lot changed other than lighting.. The color shift began once I moved the frag higher in the tank under 250w 10&20K bulbs mixing. The shift sped up when I upgraded to 400W 20K DE's.

I feed an ounce of local grown phyto 3 times a week, 1 cube mysis 1 cube formula 1 every day, my only source of calcium at the moment is Kalk top-off water (2-5 gallons daily) and seaweed for the tangs. I have a DIY venturi skimmer and run carbon both actively and passively. I have ALLOT of flow especially that high in the tank..
