Reeffrontiers,

We have been super busy in the shop this last few months, thank you for all your support!

We were commissioned to build a pair of almost identical frag tanks. They are 48x24x8 and 48x24x12. We built them with 1/2" cell cast material, and they turned out very nice. The thought crossed my mind that I might be able to use one of these bad boys!
Here is a cell phone pic, left the D90 at home today. Enjoy!

Excellent work! I just picked these up and I couldn't be happier. One set of items closer to my dream system. I'll post up a picture I have drawn up in Sketchup for how these are going to be integrated into my fish room once I get to Denver. Thanks J.

Here's a snap shot of the filtration/fish room I'm planning for the next house. I'm still working on revising the design but I'm eventually going to capture a virtual video tour of the room and the display tank and put it in the new build thread. Until then, we still have to go through the process of moving and finding a house, so I can't get too carried away with buying major components like the display until I know exactly what space we have to work with. Still, I am determined to make room for these tanks. They will be run into a sump for stand-alone use but will also be plumbed into the main display system that way I can have the option of isolating them for QT in case of disaster or ignore them because I'm already tracking the display's water parameters.

You can see a lot of extra features in the picture I'll explain when I start the build thread.

wow, nice design. I like the fragging area too.

Thanks. The design is to have the fragging area like a secondary sink. Fill up a small reservoir with tank saltwater located on the wall above the frag saw to use while running it. The water and crud just collects in the drip pan built into the countertop and drains into the normal house waste line. I just have to make sure I have a screen on it so coral fragments don't clog up the drain.
