They look like these measuring about 1mm w/ a split tail. Not sure how or where they came from...I heard the ones on the glass were usually safe, unless the number got out of control. Input I don't have much experience with worms....

well those are red planaria....my worms are more of a white color...I'll try and get a pic.

yep thoe are flatworms get some salifert flat worm exit nuke them before they nuke the tank or eat your coral or get a purple sea slug it will take care of it

They will not eat your coral unless the coral is dead or dying. They're actually harmless but can reach plauge proportions. A few wrasse species will gladly take care of most of theses guys and hold down the population. If you nuke them they can release toxins when dying that can dramatically affect your water chemistry and perhaps crash your tank. I wouldn't worry too much about them.

Yeah I have been reading Melevs site again over his removal strategy. He did end up using the exit product, but only because his quickly overran his tank. he also siphoned regularly to keep the population down prior to treating. I haven't seen them before and it only took about 30 mins to clear the glass twice including a blowing off of corals in between so I believe the population is low right now. I will be picking up a couple of the natural predators at the sale this weekend to assist in my efforts....stupid pests.

You see what happens when you leave your tank in the care of another....even your wife ;)

Yeah...not under great terms though. Hit me up and feel free to stop by the house sometime. Just PM me for the addy whenever. All I've got going on is the sale this Sunday.
