Just a thought ...
what about all those hot tubs people sit in that run ozone constantly, I certainly think that there would be warnings of some kind that this could hurt those with respiratory diseases if there was a possibility.... maybe those ozone generators are different? I dunno...can you imagine the liability and potential lawsuits my god....? I dunno maybe not... people with asthma have many varied triggers for bronchospasm... sometimes we never know the exact complexity of triggers...I certainly understand your wanting to minimize risk...but I was thinking that the risk of indoor average regular air pollution that is present within just about every home in america probably presents a 100 times higher risk than the ozone (and is filtered with carbon)...used in the aquarium hobby, but have I done the research, admittedly not... I wouldn't say that it could never be a problem... if used in a foolish way and you sat right next to it and took breaths of it .... or a broken system... who knows? but my focus in symptom mitigation would be hepa filters for the whole house, perhaps carbon air filtration . I treat asthmatics every day. worked in an ER for 5 yrs. .. on those hot muggy humid days with ozone alerts we certainly did see lots of bad asthmatics come in... You are certainly not wrong to avoid any irritant, just thought I'd throw i my 2 cents. But I really was throwing out the hot tub exposure thought for us to peruse....?
