We are going on vacation in a few weeks. We have the timers down, we are getting an automatic feeder, and someone is coming over to top off free water. Is there anything else I'm forgetting?

Ask a local reefer if they can be used as a secondary emergency contact number in case of an emergency. Have as much make up water made up as possible in case said local reefer has to come over to do an emergency WC. Unless of course your tank sitter is already a fish tank keeper and knows how to do everything reef related.

I absolutely agree with this. If you can, find a local reefer that can be a defense in case something goes awry!

set up a internet camera and stream live so you can check on your tank at all times, will give you peace of mind be be able to make a call if something is amiss, about $100
