Vari ballast will run any watt HID lamp and dimmable

Thats a cool design. It would be good for people that want to upgrades to bigger tanks needing higher wattage.

That sounds VERI cool. It would be neat to have a ballast like that and have your lights start out at 250 and gradually go up to 400 and back down to 250 over the course of a day.

That's a great thought. Would you use the 400w bulbs and just power them up and down to get that effect? Hmmmm?
