Check out this light fixture I found while surfing around. I was thinking I really had to have one of these until I looked up the price . . . uh, no.

Still, very cool light. LED has come a long way apparently. I guess with some systems you can also simulate a "thunderstorm" complete with thunder. Well, here's the lightning!

You can build a LED setup with an arduino controller that can do all of that for far less than half that price.

You'll have to teach me about these arduino controllers. They sound cool. I need to reconfigure my leds,with better drivers.

If you didn't have jumpers before the lights, you definitely would after that lightening storm!

I have been looking at the AI Sol units because I wanted to do storms as well. I may wait it out though, because they are being replace by their new Pheonix unit which is supposed to be better and wireless capable. Whatever I get, I want to be able to control it with an Apex unit.
