Very Impressed!

I stopped into BR today and I have to say, I am very impressed with the quality of livestock and the knowledgeable staff. Its the kind of LFS I would run if I were in the business. (I worked at one once, as well as worked at Point Defiance)

Not a single fish was ill, though a few were torn up from fighting (not BR fault) They were healthy, and eating appropriate foods (fresh ulva for tangs etc)
I can tell they take the time to properly quarantine their fish. They also had a great selection of predatory and reef safe fishes.

Their SPS selection was astonishing. It made me remember why I got into this hobby all those 15 years ago. My husband, who is not a hobbiest was also suitably impressed with their selection of fish and corals.

I got plenty of attention, and had all of my questions answered. I bought a light and they let me try it out and even took the time to put it over one of their tanks to see the spectrum. All of my questions were answered as well.

All I can say is that I cant wait to go back. Thank you for your wonderful attention to our hobby. You are one of the few good ones.

I will agree with you on that Rachel.
They are a great group of people. Very nice and helpful. They will take care of you. They are the meaning of great customer service. And they always have cool fish and beautiful corals.

We haven't gotten the chance to go to the physical store but have ordered corals online a couple of different times and the experience has been great. Hopefully we will make a trip over and get to check everything out in person.

I've never been there myself, but from their participation here and the knowledge and care they show for the members and the hobby itself, I would expect no less than the best from them. Hopefully I can make back to Washington one of these days to check it out in person.

You might say I am crazy but I've been stopping by every single week or twice a week after work... It's my best 15-20 minutes of the day specially at the end of the day.... It's so relax and just to stare at their corals and fish that could make my day already bring home a new piece of coral even much better feeling... LOL.

sorry, i've been off the last week or so.....thanks for the kind words. i was the one you chatted with while here. luckily you popped in on a slow weekday......you should see the weekends sometimes....man they get crazy. hope the light is working for ya....its always hard to tell from instore to home. again thanks for stoppin' in and hopefully we'll see ya around.
