VHO bulb alternative?

I found an interesting article talking about an alternative to VHO lighting. I was wondering if anyone else had read or tried this and what they thought. I am probably going to replace my bulbs in the next month or two and stumbled upon this while searching for a good place to buy new VHO bulbs.

I currently running 1 URI VHO Atinic and Aquasun HO AtinicDay. No problems with the ballast. I would say the AtinicDays are brighter than HO but probably not upto VHO. Still bright enough for my needs.

"overdriving" of NO bulbs using VHO ballasts has been around awhile...I'd like, however, to see some PAR comparisons between overdriven NO's and VHO's...also like to see some proof that overdriving doesn't quickly change the spectrum of the bulbs....
