Wanted: T5 opinions

I am leaping from halides to the T5 realm - looking to start out with putting 8 overdriven 4ft T5 lamps over a 210 (672 watts) I have the equipment to go 12 lights.
Was looking for any comments specially to bulb combos and pros and cons of overdriving. I know URI specifies 54/84 V-HO and seems any HO bulb can be overdriven. And what the take is on the internal reflectors of the URI bulbs. Looking for moderate growth and flouresing - looking to keep sps mainly with maybe some lps trying to keep the other things in a seperate system.
