Not at all if you can consistantly do it week after week.

WC's will be the best method of keeping your tank healthy, keep them up!

It think it is hard to change to much water, unless you are careless in your prep of the wc water.

I do 30G changes once a week on my 110. I just make sure the WC water is stable.

Thanks, I am pretty much consistant. I think in the 3 years I have only missed twice with the weekly water change.

That is fine. For +30 years I use to do 90 % / m and 1 gal /day

I think the only way your going to find out is to do more and see what happens. If you see more inprovement well........... then there is your answer. I did huge, close to 100% per week water changes for a long time and can tell you my tank loved it.

Ok, I am confused. How can you do a 100% water change? Wouldn't the tank cycle again?

No the bacteria is in the live rock and sand.

its not going to hurt anything. Just remember that it will swing your water parameters. Make sure that you balance your salt mix carefully.
I'm going to try a contiuous change system this time around and see what happens.

all it takes is a look at that yellow water that comes out to know that water changes are good.
And....bragging now......I just carried 340 lbs of water change.Yep yep just the other day.
