Does anyone here know where to acquire FDA/USDA approved water storage containers/ barrels? Something in the 30+ gallon area. Already tried Home Depot and they looked at me like I was stupid. Preferably on the east side around the Bellevue Kirkland area. Any help would be much appreciated.

the rubbermaid "brute" grey trash cans are safe for water storage just about everyone uses them including me I have 3 without any issues plus they are sturdy even full of water and are not priced out of sight. Home depot does carry these btw....

go to any beer making place and you can pick up food safe barrels cheap. They get their syrup in them.

Bob,

What section of the website are you looking at? I must be in the high roller end. All the prices are at least $100+ per barrel. And I am not talking oil here. LOL..

there are different grades of containers. My 15 gallon containers (like in this photo of my sump area) only cost like $40 each. There are different thicknesses and grades of plastics, so prices are at all levels. It is worth stopping in if you want to talk with them. (they are right on West Valley Hwy in Kent).

Only in my dreams dude! :D

Just wondering if we have met. You should come around and meet other Kitsap reefers.

I'm interested in meeting more locals.
and learning about my newly found (expensive) hoby

btw,
I just noticed your sig talks about no normal beers in your fridge.

did you hang out at Heads up?
or Toad house?

Yeah I went to heads Up a few times. :D Too bad he had to shut down. I loved the 9mm. Anyway, I sell a lot of nice beers in my store, and usually have a decent selection in my tank room fridge.

not sure.

as far as going to heads up,
my mug said "Kraut"
and I usually wore a Kilt

maybe, maybe not. It will be extremely difficult for Ted to get any kind of financing, even if it is just a package store. I really lkike him a lot and that's why I stayed pretty much out of that business until recently.

If you go to my web site you will see a header linked to my store, BUT, the beer is not listed. If you talk to local brewers they will tell you about what I am up to.
