Wavemaker and Koralias

Would it be ok to hook up Koralia 3s and 4s to the Red Sea wavemaker?

Will it work fine or would it kill the Koralia powerheads or lessen its working life? Im just want to find out what you guys' opinion on this..

they wont last a week on a controller. they make special controllers for them that doesnt actually shut them off but just slows them down. the start and stop will bburn them up in no time..

Thanks for the advise Matt. I've seen those new koralias with the controllers. Pricy. Well, everything nice is pricy anyways...

I probably need to set up something else with the wavemaker...

I bet a SEIO controller would run them fine assuming you could find one cheap enough.

Seems there's one other controller that doesn't completely shut down, but works more like a rheostat, slowing them down to half power and then back up.

There are also controllable Koralia's That are to be used with the controller and regular Koralia's for just powerheads...Vince
