hey guys im thinking about getting a wavermaker to hook a few powerheads up too and was wondering if anyone has used one. and if you seen any growth in corals like they say they do?? thx

Never used a wavemaker - I use a tunze stream with a seaswirl to get some good random flow combinations. However, I've heard a wavemaker is a great way to achieve that good random flow that SPS crave.

no i dont have anything to random the waves. thats why i was curious what you guys thought. im just kinda starting to get into corals and read all the reviews saying it was needed for corals and was wondering how much it really helps. have any suggestions?

then the sps i have cause it was missed priced and i got it for 10 bucks lol so i figured id give it a shot. i have it up high in the take cause i do not have my mh set yet

if your talking a wavemaker for power heads this is the one I'm thinking of grabbing for my 4 K-nanos in the 20 gallon. With all four of them going at once it does not matter what direction I have them facing I get a little whirlpool action on the top water and floatys build up that never hit the overflow
