anyone have any ideas whats growing out of my montis one i think is a softi the other is unknown it s on both sides looks like small branchs,on the one with the softi? how would i go about removing it or leave it alone i dont know about a softi so close but its been there for awhile, any thoughts?

i'd move the kenya tree (or at least it looks like one :p) a little bit away, the same for the aptasia :D.
i don't know about the third pic dood .

I'm pretty sure that the third pic is a vermetid snail (I have several of them in my tank). I've been told that you can do things like poke them with a needle, cut off their tube, etc. I've tried cutting off the tubes and they just build new tubes. SOme people leave them be as they don't do much harm except exude a mucous string to catch particles of food out of the water column. It can get pretty unsightly though. I'm in the camp that considers them a pest but I haven't gotten out my needle yet.

i do too !! i hate those things , if you try moving your rocks around they can hurt your fingers bad.
they also irritated one of my lps and my mushrooms, so everytime i see them i just break them with my fingers .

They look like a couple of Majano anemones. You can feed them kalkwasser to eliminate them. They can multiply and become a pest. If they make physical contact with corals they can sting them resulting in injury or death of the corals.

Vermetid snails are generally harmless but can become unsightly. Sometimes their mucus webs can irritate nearby corals. They can be removed with tweezers or by breaking off a small piece of the coral (when living on corals).

if its a kenya iwill try to move it but its attached to the base of the monti the things you say might be snails ,ive never seen anything come out of them,i just did a joes juice in the tank the aiptasias in the pic got by for now

With respect to the Vermetid; Don't think for a second that the Monti will be able to out grow it and eventually smother it. I tried this unsucsessfully for about 2 years and I ended up with a long tube of Montipora. Looked kinda cool but a pest IMO.
