Hiya Collin just wanted to welcome you to Reef Frontiers. Looking forward to watching you simplify things for us non chemist types.

I have my molecular model kit ready to put together!

Welcome!

Hey great. Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll be working on getting some topics going in the weeks to come. For now, any questions are open game. I hear a lot of talk regarding phosphate buildups, especially in dsb's. I'm going to be looking into this topic shortly, with the objective of tracing the pathways of phosphates through the biosystems of our aquaria. Any comments, questions, curiosity or insights into this area?

Sincerely...Collin

Glad to have you here Colin. I look forward to learning more about chemistry and its relation to my reef tank.

Welcome, welcome, welcome.

I like those chemistry questions myself even though I don't have a full understanding like a chemist. I'm looking forward to reading your posts.

I remember getting into some trouble for telling some of my students they could get an A by catching enough hydrogen gas in thier test tubes of sodium in water to cause the glass to explode when they lit it...Somehow my advisor didn't think that was very funny...C
