West of the mountains employment

Well as some of the locals that know me know. I've been unemployed for a pretty long time (coming up on a year) and i'm tired of sending out resume after resume to hear nothing back. So I thought I would post up a thread here and see if ayone knows of any openings. I'm looking for anything that will beat unemployment (about $14.50/hr). I'm looking for anything within a 1hr commute of tacoma or in the anchorage/eagle river alaska area. Yep, thats right i've even been toying around with relocating for work and still cant find anything. SO, enough with my silly sob story. If anyone knows of any openings for someone with extensive land surveying/construction experience or just being plain handy and a quick learner then I would greatly appreciate a heads up.
