wet dry or Refugium

Can someone please clarify for me what the primary difference is between the two. What is recommended for a 120 fO tank? Pros and Cons etc.

Many people do not like the wet dry. A secondary mechanical filtration filter and so called "nitrate factory". So if you're looking for a concensus, it's BAD....:evil:. A refugium is a secondary bio filtration system used to house macro algae for nitrate export of the main display tank among other important benifits . Both can be effective if set up properly. Any specific question?
