Other than ca, alk and mg most folks dont need anything. Waterchanges alone is plenty.

Learning what trace elements are would help. My tanks over 2 yrs old and never add anything. Chemicals are not needed all the time.

im just wondering if you look at most website they stat polyps need it and hard soft corals need it and im wondering if my tank is lacking them .. cause not much seems to be doing anything , but i also noticed my water temp hit 82 today and i think thats start of my problem

The trace elements you're referring to are in the salt mix. As long as you're doing regular water changes, those elements are replaced faster than they're utilized.

Most website are usually trying to seperate you from your money.
A good quality salt mix and regular water changes will normally suffice.

I agree with what has been said, so far. I generally recommend folks to not add anything they can't test for.
