What color clams.

Doing some research on what hobbyish perfer in color of the clams they purchase from both internet and LFS.

I know I like the mixed colors of them.

I loved the metallic blue coloration, but I saw a red leopard patterned mantle and turned to ooze at the sight!

Bright blue (solid)- It depends on if it is a Dark color or like a baby blue The latter I preffer.

Malti color w/ pattern -Again I like allot of Multi colored Ones especially if the major color is not really dark or brown colored .

Example Dersa's are mostly brown no matter how pretty the eyes section is.

Croseac are almolst always dark and purplish. Th ones that have more than one color really fly off your shelves and are often priced higher. No suprise there.

Maxima's seem to be harder to keep long term as I don't see many older ones in peoples tank's for whatever reason. But the baby blue color contrasts the darker corraline algae and or any brown corals or algae.

Mixes of blue and green look awesome generally as we don't see them that much.
