What compound do you recommend to repair PVC

I found a minor leak at one of the elbows in my sump plumbing. What sealent could I use to help close the leak. The pipe isnt cracked water is just finding its way thru the joint

Scrape it clean & use a little PVC primer & then glob of glue on top of that & let it dry 2 hours.!

Try "Rain or Shine" blue pvc cement then "Wonder Putty" on TV.

Would McClendons have either of those? I have the gold can PVC cement right now

They should, the medium body cement just is too thin for that kind of repair. If the R&S doesn't cut it, you will have to put in new parts. Good Luck!

If they have AquaMend epoxy putty try that, cures when wet.

Home depot has the wonder putty type product, one is aquamend that is used under water.

Hey guys, would regular pvc cement be fine? It wouldn't release any toxins into the tank/sump, would it?
