If you were to build a new aquarium, custom made, no limitations but still practical in your home or modified home; What dimensions would you want your new tank to be?

6 feet wide, 24 inches tall and 36 inches front to back. I think this makes a great size but not to big.

Very nice suggestion Mike & Nikki

I currently have 6'X30"X30" and I would have liked a longer tank. sooooo my final answer is:

10'LongX30"DeepX36"FtoB

As difficult as the 30" deep tank is to work in i still like it allot and 400W MH is intense enough for SPS on the very bottom..

Standard all glass 75 gallon. J/K I like the shape a steve weast's tank. The canyon look is great.

my dream tank would be a 55 long. :D actually, i would really like a 72" long by 30" wide (front to back) by 24" deep.

48x48x30 or 96x96x30 Both would make very nice tanks... I have seen the 48x48x30 and its a sweet tank...

I like two types of tanks...
Cubes, or cube-ish.... 48x48x24 would be awesome...
and the 2:1 (LxW) ratio tanks.....ie 48x24, (120) or 36x18 (58) etc... so along those lines, 72x36 or 96x48 as long as its about 24 inches deep...
lots of room to play with for aquascaping...
