microbiologist (parasitologist) trying to find drugs/drug targets to treat infectious diseases (third world). Malaria, leishmaniasis (problem for all you guys in the middle east, spread by the sand fly), african sleeping sickness and chagas disease (s. america). Been working on it for 8 years at UW
 
Firefighter/Paramedic. I tend to run into situations that everyone runs from. Such as burning buildings, trauma, hazmat, confined space, High angle ect. I love my Job!
 
Air Traffic controller, and no not the guy with the yellow glow sticks at the gate, and no not the guy in the glass tower. I'm the one in a dark radar room filled with salty pesonalities, hahaha, playing the world worst video game. Only there's no game over, and no second chance, but I love it!
 
Any stay-at-home parent out there?
I volunteer at my kids' school, go on lots of field trips, and try to keep a clean house:lol:

I will be retiring at the age of 31, once I get my wife out of med school. I'd like to be the stay at home dad...however the likeliness of this happening is probably slim...

US Navy for 8 yrs as a GSM (Gas Turbine Systems Mechanical). Been on USS Chosin CG-65, USS Paul Hamilton DDG-60 and now Bangor IMF Naval Base. Gone on 4 deployments all in the Arabian Gulf for either 6 or 7 months at a time. Was there in 2003, 2005, 2007 & 2009. I will be done here in January 2012.

Hey other Todd,

Here's the deal, you need people that know how to do the work and you need the "real brains" behind the operation (yourself) that come up with all the brilliant ideas :D

If noone was in charge you'd just end up with lots of code that didn't do anything. Besides, a team is only as good as it's leader, so if they are very smart, they must have a very smart boss as well.

On a side note, the longer and sillier your title is, usually means the more important you are to your organization.

In home service specialists.
That’s what one of the companies I do work for call it. I fix home appliances. Self employed and its what ever color collar job you want to call it but I only wear black.
 
Hahaha, thanks Ryan! My post read funny/odd in retrospect. I should have simply said that the guys\gal that work for me are awesome! They make me look good everyday. I truly love my job and my peeps.
 
Manager for a sales team in the textile industry.... Not really putting my finance degrees to good work... Think I would trade jobs with a lot of you.. Especially the fire fighter, that's kind of my pipe dream, dream job.....
