I have some zoo's and some Ricordea Yuma.

What do they eat?

Thanks

So I don't have to target feed them at all?

Actually no. Some people do in order to see faster growth. But it's not at all necessary. Regular water changes will supply the required essential elements and proper lighting will supply photosynthesis.

You just fed flake food! Do you think that was increasing nitrates? Do you think mushrooms and zoas like a bit of nitrates? Thats been my thought from my observations of my different systems.

Ocean nutrition flakes was by far the best softy grower I have found short of target feeding which is too time consuming with a large tank. My 72 softy tank was the fastest grower I have ever seen, and the flakes was a BIG part of the success. They are mostly marine ingredients. Nitrates never too bad, but you know my tanks ;)

Was Ocean Nutrition the only food you were feeding your tank?

I watched my magicians eat shrimp pieces tonight. Was cool, like watching anemone eating. Really cool that they eat also.

I always used frozen mysis shrimp mixed with zooplankton to target feed. zoas and mushrooms grow like crazy with that.
