I am not sure this is the correct place to post this thread....but we'll see if anyone out there responds!!
I have a couple small white kinda fuzzy looking sacks hanging from my powerheads....anyone have any ideas? I can try to take a picture if needed. But the above description really does sum it up.

Well, there's a couple of ways a guy could go here.............................. I'll take the easy way .
How long have your powerheads been in the tank? Are they in the full lite? I am thinking that they may be sponges if they have been in there for a while. Maybe you should post a pic just too get us going. HTH.

OH MY GOSH!!!!! hahahahhahah LOLOLOLOLOL That is too funny!!! I did not even realize how that sounded! My tank is about 17 weeks old. Yes, direct light. Would it be a good sponge or a bad sponge? Ok, I will have to break out the book and try to figure out how to take a picture with my new camera and download it. Yikes.

I don't really think there is a bad sponge. Are they on the underside of the powerhead, It might be a little early for sponges tho.

There is one under the nozzle that the air blows through.
