what is this? snail without a shell?

hello.

found two of these in my tank. it looks like a snail without a shell. they are about 0.5 to 1.0 inches, brown and have two short tentacles at the head. the two were releasing this milky substance. what is this? and should I remove them permanently from my tank?

It looks like a stomalia snail to me, but I might be wrong?
