What is this?

Does anyone know what these are? they kinda look like an open brain coral? i bought them from this dentist office that was closeing down for 10 bucks plus 5 for the rock they were on and thats all i know about em. except the will except lil pieces of silver sides and shrimp at night. also does anyone know what that tree like thing in the back ground a lil to the left is called?

Looks like Scolymia, but can't be sure.

The tree looking thing is a kenya tree coral. They are a bit like a xenia in that they grow like a weed.

you could have been very lucky and buy an acanthastrea maxima

wow it does kind of look like a plain looking scolymia. also looks like an open brain coral

The coral in the back that looks like a tree is Capnella Genus most likely C. imbricata.

The issue is that it is very difficult to find a double cynarina or an scolymia but it is usual to find acanthattre maxima with two heads interlinked. So I insist it is an acan maxima
