We've had the tank for about 1.5 years.. the livestock in there SHOULD be: an angel fish, a puffer, a trigger, a tang, and 2 shrimps. there's some cleaning crew tidbits, and of course various corals.

2 months ago we saw some black thing in between one of the rocks.. it was about the size of a penny at the time.. didn't know if it was alive or dead or what.

Today i saw this huge black thing.. rippled edges, looks like 2 tentacles.. not sure if it moves actively but it was flowing with the water when i saw it..
what the heck could this be? is it dangerous? sure is scary that the tank can be breeding random living things?!!

Pic 1/2 are from the front. Pic 3 is from the side of the tank.

Like most things that mske their way into our systems by hitchhiking. So either on your live rock or a coral. Leave it in they are grazers.
