What light do you use in your refugium!!!!

I used to run two 23W fluorescents on my 65G cheato fuge, and I also ran 4 foot NO 64 watt shop light over my xenia fuge in the sump. The xenia grew like weeds under that tiny bit of light.

I use 65k daylight sprial bulb from mclendon. On my bc29 works like a champ. Better then those underwater halogn lights I had in there.

Smart Alec's!!! If you look real close ( at my avatar) You'll see that I've been using only natural sunlight on my calf fuge since "93" Its actually caused bleaching on the macro algeas if you look closely. The colors were so vibrant 18 years ago. Apparently, the glass we use on our tanks is far better than any sun screen on the market. HaHaHaHa.....
