What light system to go with ...

Guys,

I am currently using the Coralife 36 Inch Aqualight With 1-96W Actinic / 1-96W 10,000K Lamp Square Pin Base (with fans) for my Oceanic front-bow 46GL tank; And I want to update my light system. Right now, mostly softies in my tank.

What light system would I buy if I want to go with for my SPS? The tank doesn't have a canopy.

For SPS, I'd personally go with metal halides. You can get them in a fixture with mounting legs so you don't have to worry about hanging them from the roof or in a canopy. I've used 3 different types of MH's so far and liked them all

Not sure if I've seen that brand before, but yeah...Same idea/principle. Here's what mine looks like on my tank (24 gal aquapod) It's a 70w HQI metal Halide fixture with 6 blue and 6 white moonlights.
