I found the perfect spots for my green stylo, and my pocilipora, and the green stylo, I noticed that my six line is like plucking at it. Should I worry? Or is six line not doing any harm?

interesting I curious as i've seen My 6-line pulls at my leather and yellow polyps if anyone has any suggestions i'm contemplating removing him as he is fed well and this is very disturbing :)

My Sixline wrasse has been doing the same thing to my Seriatopora for years without harm. I'm not sure what they peck at but it doesn't harm the coral.

HTH,
Kevin

six lines have been known to eat flat worms so maybe there is some sort of very small parasite that it is geting off of these frags?? a lot of fish will pick at corals but will not cause long term damage. all of my books list the six line as reef compatable so i wouldn't worry about it until you see it doing serious damage. then the only thing to do is take it out of the tank.

Dunno, its a mystery... Do you think getting into acros is a good idea considering red bugs? I really want to get into acros, and im gonna email my granny if she could get me a GARF gift certificate, and I can use it to get frags like the purple bonsai (Probably My absolute favorite) blue tip acros, etc...

Cesar - I believe there have been quite a few attempts at finding a fish to eat the red acro bugs. I haven't run across a definate "this fish eats red bugs"....I believe Greg Hiller noted a particular species of pipefish, but I don't know that the SPS tank environment would work very well for this fish.
