i have a 55gallon tank with four 65w compact floresent and two 250 watt 14k halides i would like to have fish as well as corals and inverts i am new to reef keeping so anything that would be easier to take care of but still colorful and pleasing to the eyes if possible post pics so i can see what they look like

thanks in advance:D

new to reef keeping: keep mushrooms, cheap zoos, feather dusters, colt coral and pulsing xenia. a pair of clowns, an algae eating blennie, an abalone, and a cleaner shrimp or neon goby. you'll be able to sneak in another fish or two, but do it later if at all.

rememeber getting as much live rock as you're ever gonna get before you put that fist fish or coral in there is the best thing you can do. then calcium up that tank, get the coralline starting to grow and then do livestock.

and that is a rediculous amount of light, unless you're going for straight acros/clams, or are going to propagate the hell outta softies.

(really you could "get by doing soft coral" doing either your pc or mh setup)
