ive had a serious problem with these worms. they have killed lots of snails and my prize squamosa clam as well as several smaller croceas before i found them and started eliminating them. i would use a small dim flashlight at night to find them and catch them near the rock opening they come out of with large tweezers. they are EXTREMELY fast and you have to grab them right the first time or their gone and try again later or the next night. dont shine the light directly on them as they will retreat quickly. if you are sure you only have one and see the rock its in remove that rock and boil it and then re-cure it.
