I have heard stories of people getting bad ball valves. I want a ball valve with true unions I think to plumb my two pumps. My pumps being a Dolphin 2100 and a Sequence Stingray 3800. I want something easy and cheap easy to maintain. I am looking for where people got these and how much. This plumbing thing has me in the dark. I am trying to learn true union, etc. Any help with pictures would be appreciated. I would love pictures so I can identify each ball valve set up.

Thanks in Advance,
Ed

I've gone to True Union ball valves from Aquatic Eco-Systems. They include both threaded and slip fittings in each box, so I can choose on the fly how to connect them.

Make sure they are true unions, with unions on both sides. Some ball valves marketed as "True union" only have one union, which makes replacing a glued in valve a cut and hack job.

With a union on both sides, you can remove and replace the valve in minutes.

Thanks Zeph!
I was trying to remember who you recommended. I was too proud to ask you again and why.
Take care,
Ed:)
