No Mnewby you want the flow to be slow. If you go to fast throught the refugium your not going to get the contact time algae needs to absorb nutrients and also you will end up sweeping out to much of the larvae that will form in thier.

agreed. Slow is best - shoot for somewhere between 300-600gph.

I have the same question - what would you say is a good turnover ratio for a refugium with dsb? I'm not sure what size fuge I'll end up with but should I aim for 10X turnover? 20X?
