im putting togeter my tank and im going to drill in my closed loop,, i was thinking three, 3/4inch bulk heads on each side of one end,, how close do you think i could put them and be safe from cracking,,, its made with half inch acrlic... ???? your input would be very help full,,,, i all so on the same end will have the inlet for the closed loop, and two holes for the over flow and one more for the return,,,

thanks,,,
ps ,, please leave feed back

why 6?

how about two 1.5 or 2"

you risk leaks with more holes.... the less the marry'r

so you want to drill 9 holes total?

I would invest in some large size high quillty hole drills... or End mills.... what ever is best for drilling plastic. (i would think fine tooth carbide)

maybe 1 large to the left and one large to the right.... and 2 smaller ones center a few inchs from each other....

Good luck....

I toaly agree
I would go with bigger bulkheads and less holes.

I have 1 2" going to my dart pump and 1 -1 1/2" going into 4 1" for the return.
Leaks are a TRUE bummer!
