How about starting a "Whatever Dood" thread where you can show and tell what's new...fish or not fish related , say what's on your mind (without going overboard and getting p.m'd), Almost like a neverending Instant Messaging board except it isn't really instant because of the 30 second rule(LOL). I figured quite a bit of the threads get hijacked way off topic by a few un-ruley members (lol) (I'll call no names *coughs...J, K, & G to name a few*) So, I figured, let's create a Bin Laden proof thread that even the best, can't hijack...Give those who want to be a little serious at times their space and when they are ready to kick back and have some fun, they can come here for a few laughs and join in a little RF fun! What do you guys think??? I think we should give Jiddy, the current MOTM (soon to be removed...or could it be 2 straight(LOL)), honors of blessing this thread since we all love to hear from him...So Jiddy what's on your mind other than your missing clown :shock:

My first car was a 70’ camaro. It was my pride and joy until I got “t-boned” in it and it ended up being totaled. I used to race my brother in law all the time. He had a 69’ camaro. Then later in life I had an 84’camaro which was actually my wife’s but I was the one who always took care of it. I still love those cars.

Yep...I know what you mean. I use to love the 66 corvette. My last Chevy, which my wife made me sell because she use to do 180's coming out of corners when she is terrified of anything that slides, was a 2000 Chevy S-10 SS which I bought brand new. They never actually called them the "SS" after changing the shapes from 1998-2003 when they stopped making them, but she had the whole 9 yrds from sport suspension right down to posi traction and a lot more I added. I miss it and it drives me crazy everytime my friend (Anthony, the son of the LFS here in the Bahamas) comes by me in it (seeing he bought it). He always rubs it in by saying, Boy that's a fresh truck hey... You should get one. (LOL)

I wasn't trying to hijack, just stating a point. I think there are plenty of off topic threads around without starting a new one with some of the server problems and such. Just my opinion though.

Well, if that is truely the case, then maybe we should not post on this thread anymore at all. I honestly don't want to be the cause of a slowed down server for anyone...And besides, the forum is called "Reef Frontiers". Maybe there shouldn't be a section like the "Water Fountain" anyway to use up valuable server space for those who want to learn and discuss "Saltwater" issues and actaully sponsor and support RF with their contributions. The main reason why I wanted to start this thread is for us to maybe cut back on a few of the other threads on the "Water Fountain" which only end up on the same topics anyway. I wasn't aware that by me creating another thread could potentially cause more server issues. I'm a very easy person to get along with who avoids causing confusion and honestly I have no problem with the administrator removing this thread totally from the forum... Infact I personally request it be done because I honestly doubt that I will reply to this one anymore...I don't want to cause a problem for anyone here and make them feel uncomfortable, angry or unhappy.

Gaaa! There is nothing wrong with this thread. This is the Water Fountain forum, and it is here specifically for off-topic threads.

I'll post an off-topic rant. When I'm driving around, I normally follow the rules of the road and go the speed limit or a little higher. Now, for most of the time, if I have a Q-Tip driving in front of me (for those that aren't familiar, a Q-Tip is what we call the little elderly ladies with white puffy hair) I don't complain....they can't help it, it is just the speed they drive (please, please stay off the road during rush hour). My issue is when folks aren't Q-Tips and drive under the speed limit....not 5 mph, but 10 or more. The other day, I'm taking the little one to school, and this guy is in front of me, going 25 mph (speed limit is 35 mph). I get pretty irritated. Well, we enter a school zone, and I don't have to slow down because I'm already driving that slow! Then, this guy takes off and goes pretty fast through the school zone. I thought to myself....oh sure - speed up when you are supposed to slow down! Grrrrrr!

And about that corvette motorcycle, there is a bike like it that comes to town for the Sturgis Rally and it goes faster than the rider will do, true story.

Talkin about cool cars, nothin beats a old school caddyLack. Thats what i drove when i was single, the license plate said SMOOVE, that means, im smooth so move. Now i have a blaza, its like a minivan for cool people, my lic plate says JIDDY.
