I know the pics arent that great but I'm talking about the small red bubble. There firm feeling and just popped up one day.

the top pic is a cluster of them growing off a piece of halimeda
Middle pic is one dead center. hard 2 c the bottom pic but its on the edge of the rock

I can't tell from the pictures but my guess based on the description would be Botryocladia sp. (commonly called sea grapes).
