Where do you drip your Kalk?

Before or after the skimmer? Before or after the fuge?

I've been told dripping it before the skimmer could help with phosphate control.

Any thoughts?

Phosphate will bind to calcium so if you have it prior to the skimmer the binded ions will fall out of solution, but then you are kind of defeating the purpose of dosing calcium. Also these binded particals will eventually go back into solution anyway. I am a fan of doising it through my top oiff system, so after fuge and skimmer.

Same here, I dose it with my ATO into my sump after my fuge/skimmer

After skimmer and fuge for me. Top off kalk pumps into last chamber of sump/fuge
