Where do you folks find SPS?

Hello everyone,

I just finished a MAJOR upgrade on my system and am now ready to move into SPS. The problem is, in Tacoma there is none to be found at the LFS's. I know I could do mail order but I prefer to shop locally. So, can you folks recommend some good shops in the Seattle/Tacoma area? Or, do any of you sell frags of your own? Thanks for any advise...

Scotmol I would say you NEED to come to the next locaal meeting, lol, we are going to be giving away a ton of corals for all who come. it would be a good place to meet some other folks that love to trade. As per stores thier arent alot that cater to sps lover, Our sponcer Blue sierra has some stuff in now and then, ad thier are a couple of others that get the odd nice colony

Where to find SPS??

The best place to find SPS locally is Portland Oregon! Soutas Saltwater. Look it up on the internet. They will have everything you need! Frag wise that is.

So I saw some new places posted on the board, indoor reef on 6th??? is that in Tacoma. I shop regularly at all of the sponsors stores, but much like everyone else, I like to look around at the various suppliers. Here is a list of the stores I know of. Are there any other in Greater Puget Sound?? tacoma, everett, etc.??

The shark reef--silverdale
Below sea level--U-district Seattle
Blue sierra--issaquah
Aquarium concepts--145th and Aurora-Shoreline/Seattle
Saltwater city--Bellevue
Jones and company, marysville.-- random fish, etc, like the petcos
The fish store--Norther U-district, Seattle
