Does anyone know a store in the Seattle area (preferably on the Eastside) that sells PVC Gate vales? (1", threaded?)

I've tried calling all the plumbing places I know (McLendons, Morgan's, Keller, Ferguson, Rosen, etc.). Trying to avoid (the shipping costs of) purchasing online...

McClendon's in Woodinville or Grainger in Bothell. Also try a Ace Hardware place. I know Tweedy and Popp Ace Hardware has some Gate Valves. The have stores in Wallingford and Shoreline/Richmond Beach.

Hi Jason,

Do you carry the Kbi (King Brothers) brand of gate valves?

i know ace has sold them and mclendons. also check lowes or home depot. sometimes you can get them to transfer or order them in,

Why not Bulk Reef Supply, can't beat their prices. Also check out Barrier Reef, I think I had seen some in their back baskets. I'd look for the ones that have the disconnects at the valve, otherwise it takes up a lot of pipe real estate foot print.

Well, 3 strikes tonight--no PVC Gate-valves to be found in the North/Eastside. :-(

-Woodinville McLendons: "no pvc gate valves, we just have ball valves."
-0 of 4 at Ace stores (Kirkland, Lake Forest Park, Tweedy-Pop Lake City**, Tweedy Wallingford)

**This after driving all the way to Lake City, after calling Tweedy Lake City--and them saying "yeah we have 1" threaded gate valves in both brass and pvc." >:-|
Plenty of Brass Gate Valves, and plenty of PVC ball (and stop) valves--but no PVC Gate Valves.

I didn't bother with Lowes(t) Home Improvement or Hell Depot--I know their stock better than the employees. (They barely keep ball valves in sotck/in the right box; I don't have any hope for a gate valve there.)

I guess it's back to the Inter-webs, and the obligatory shipping fees.
sigh.

Ah, that is a good price! (too bad they don't have 1" swing check valve too, then they'd be the one-stop-shop!)

Credit goes to Barrier Reef for actually having gate valves in stock--but just 3/4" (not 1" like I wanted.)
But they still had 100% more gate valves than anyone else around.

Note: anyone looking for a good deal on BALL Valves should check out the HarborFrieght store in Bellevue.
They had Sch 80 1/2", 3/4", and 1" ball valves on clearance for $.99-1.49 !! (They're hiding on the same aisle as the pipe wrenches.)
