Which Skimmer?

I have the choice between a Reef Octopus NWB-150 or a Bubble Master 250. This will be for a 140 gallon DT with 40 gallon sump. They will both be in a 40 gallon breeder sump.

The NWB 150 is a little underpowered but the Bubble Master is way overkill but I want an overstocked tank eventually.

Either I keep the Bubble Master or trade for a Neptune controller 3 with three energy 8 features, one energy bar 4, breakout box, Neptune lunar slim, temp gauge, one new pH probe and an orb probe.

I want to know what you would choose.

Really Depends!

1. You could go with the route of the undersized skimmer and get the Neptune. You could upgrade on the skimmer later (but would you)

2. Stay with the bubble master and get the controller at a later point in time

Really all boils down to what your needs are and what its going to cost you down the road.

My Tank has been up and running for almost 2 years now and I JUST got the Neptune Apex and even then I bought it off of someone else!

Ehh..... I don't know.... Bubble Master I suppose.... Both are good in my opinion.

Both are good skimmers but I would likely go with the bubble master as well.
