is this whitish film only on the top? I'm thinking maybe something is <snails, corals, clams, etc,> getting frisky :D
 
Lol! Well, we have laws protecting crawfish at certain parts of the year and then by size as well as the grouper, but other than that, not much else. I think brain coral is the most protected coral, but honestly, no-one really is into saltwater reefkeeping here so big issue of a lot of reef hacking going on. They actually don't care if you remove coral as they never check boats for it. It's just something in the law books that is just ignored. I still never removed whole corals and just harvested frags etc. :)

Its good to see they are protecting the reefs down there. I hope they are around for a long time to come. Strange about the fish though.
 
hmm dunno. just had a blue dot hair lay eggs. but now is cuddled in a ball under the rocks hope hes not stressed.
